Undertaking a recruitment campaign to attract new talent
Successfully launching a syndicated product to market
The insights agency was continuing to grow and needed to attract fresh talent at all levels but was facing a limited supply of people.
First of all, we undertook research amongst new starters to understand the new recruitment activities, routes and channels that had formed since the pandemic and the key messages that resonated for candidates during the interview experience. We used this intelligence to build a recruitment campaign based around the positive message that the agency was still growing and that they wanted the people within it to “Grow with us”.
I worked with a member of the marketing team to create a series of assets to support both direct recruitment and via recruitment agencies. We built out the careers pages on the website, creating a main recruitment video, a training and development video, updating photography with a photo shoot at the HQ, creating talking head videos covering a range of job functions, and day-in-the-life diaries. Assets were adapted for use in social media, at recruitment fairs, for recruitment agencies and for internal marketing. We also created an Instagram profile for new graduates to show what life would be like working for the agency and we used internal communications channels to promote a referral scheme incentive.
