Successfully launching a syndicated product to market

The insights agency identified potential for a new syndicated research product that could be launched in the market.

Working with a Commercial Director, I undertook market research to evaluate the competition in the marketplace, the likely demand for such a service, select a brand name and create an identity, develop the proposition and marketing materials and organise launches for each product. I regularly generated PR in the pharmaceutical trade press using the insights from the research.

A number of years later the product line has grown to cover multiple therapy areas and geographies and provides a door opener for clients who may wish to commission additional custom research. As the product expanded, I recruited an Executive to look after the marketing and they ran a regular programme of activity for this team, including web landing pages, search engine optimisation, PPC advertising, patient podcasts, thought leadership content, infographics and sales support materials.
